Durban Laptop Hinge Repair

Laptop hinge repair has been a very common problem to all makes of PC laptops. Sometimes I feel its a manufacturing defect, maybe the hinge has been set too tight during manufacturing for the design of the mounting assessable of the hinge mount, the screen cover and chaise will causing the hinge to pull or break away from the body of the laptop if hinge does not move as attended.
Mostly always the user has left it for so long the the laptop screen cover lid has come completely separated from the main laptop body. Mounting screws have long been lost and forgotten. Most of the time I have to open the body of the laptop to do an exploration assessment to see how badly the damage is, and to see if I can repair it.
I use epoxy glue to reset the hinge back in place, gluing the hinges onto the main body and screen assembly. I also try to loosen the hinge joints and clean them from dust and grime then reoil it.
Best practice when you the user is aware that the laptop is harder to open the lid cover, is to check the age of the laptop and see if its under warranty, the agent may repair it for under warranty.
When discover that the laptop has started to bulge and shows signs of coming apart at the seams is to get it seen to as it will be easier to repair.
