Regarding screen replacement, I advise the customer to order directly from a laptop spare parts supplier, and I charge only for fitting the screen.
Before the client orders the replacement laptop screen, I ensure that the issue is indeed with the screen and not the laptop itself.
I do this by testing the laptop with an external monitor via the HDMI or VGA port, as the laptop screen may be functioning properly while the laptop could have the underlying problem.
There is a chance that the screen is not the problem.
